TiviMate Setup Guide 2026: Install, Add Playlist and Best Settings

How to set up TiviMate

Short answer: install TiviMate IPTV Player from the Google Play Store (or with Downloader on Firestick), choose Add playlist → Xtream Codes login, enter your server URL, username and password, then let TiviMate load the channels and the EPG. Setup takes about 5 minutes.

TiviMate works on Android TV, Google TV, Firestick and Android boxes. It is not available on iPhone, Samsung or LG TVs.

Step 1: Install TiviMate

On Android TV and Google TV

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Search for TiviMate IPTV Player and install it.

On Firestick and Fire TV

1. Enable developer options and allow Install unknown apps for Downloader (steps in our Smarters on Firestick guide).
2. Use Downloader to get TiviMate from its official source and install it.

Step 2: Add your playlist

1. Open TiviMate and choose Add playlist.
2. Select Xtream Codes login (recommended). Choose M3U playlist only if your provider gave you an M3U link only.
3. Enter the server address (with http:// and port), username and password.
4. Click Next. TiviMate shows the number of channels, movies and series found.
5. Name the playlist and click Done.

Step 3: Load the TV guide (EPG)

With Xtream Codes, TiviMate usually loads the EPG automatically. If the guide is empty:

1. Go to Settings → EPG.
2. Check that an EPG source is listed and press Update EPG.
3. Set Update interval to every 24 hours.

Best TiviMate settings

Organise your channels

• Favourites: long-press a channel → Add to favourites.
• Reorder: long-press a group → Edit → move channels.
• Search: use the search icon to jump to a channel or programme.
• Catch-up: if your provider supports it, past programmes show a clock icon in the guide.

TiviMate Premium: is it worth it?

The free version lets you add a playlist and watch. TiviMate Premium (paid) adds recording, multiple playlists, favourites management, catch-up and more customisation. If you watch live TV every day, most users find Premium worth it.

Troubleshooting

FAQ

Can I use TiviMate on iPhone?

No. Use IPTV Smarters or another iOS player.

Does TiviMate include channels?

No. It is a player; you need a subscription such as IPTVWO, which you can test with a free 2-hour trial.
